Defy the Norm
Compact crossovers are in high demand, with each manufacturer putting out their own take on the catch-all sport utility vehicle. It takes a lot for a vehicle to rise above the crowd, but Nissan has managed to set themselves apart with the rebellious design of the Rogue.
Sleek on the outside, elegant on the inside, the Rogue offers a refined ride at an amazing value. The roomy cabin seats five and comes decked-out with high-tech features for safety and convenience. Its robust powertrain performs when you need it, and the handling must be experienced to be believed.
If you’d like to see this capable SUV for yourself, come by our dealership to take it for a test drive today. At Tom Naquin Nissan, we have the Rogue and other great cars, trucks, and SUVs on our lot, ready to hit the streets of Elkhart and beyond. Whether you’re on the hunt for an upscale ride, a safe family car, or any other reliable Nissan, we’ll help you track down exactly what you need.
What’s New in the 2019 Nissan Rogue?
The latest iteration of the Rogue now comes with added safety and driver assistance features. Automatic emergency braking, intelligent lane intervention, pedestrian detection, high-beam assist, and lane departure warning all come standard. Rear parking sensors and rear automatic braking also come as new available features. The base trim offers a new available Special Edition package, coming with heated front seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter, and heated outside mirrors for maintaining function in cold conditions.
The Rogue is well-suited for your commute with its 170-horsepower 4-cylinder engine and continuously variable automatic transmission. The ride is smooth, and its impressive fuel-efficiency allows you to keep your mind on the experience, not the expense.
The interior is fitted with high-end materials and comfortably seats five. Two sets of LATCH car seat connectors accommodate young children, and the rear seats may slide and tilt for extra cargo room when needed. Standard features include Android Auto, touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, satellite radio, and USB ports.
History of the Rogue
Nissan released the Rogue on North American roadways in 2008, rolling out to a warm reception. Its initial success was due in-part to its timing: the Rogue arrived in the U.S. in the midst a dramatic rise in gas prices, inviting a brilliant spotlight on its excellent fuel-efficiency. Nissan redesigned the Rogue just three years later, ushering in the vehicle’s second generation. The all-new Rogue’s design was sharp and understated, and the interior came equipped with an impressive list of high-end options. By 2011, the Rogue had enjoyed substantial advances in engine capabilities and new models released with a new, more efficient powerhouse under the hood.
In 2014, Nissan unveiled the third generation Rogue, coinciding with the industry-wide crossover boom. Timing once again worked in the Rogue’s favor, and the rising tide lifted its sells remarkably high. The latest incarnation of the Rogue now reigns as one of Nissan’s top selling models.
